Turn Over Bulky Flies When Wind and Weight Fight the Cast

Large streamers, bass bugs, and foam terrestrials need more authority than a delicate presentation line can provide. The Big Nasty WF8F uses an aggressive weight-forward profile to load fast-action rods quickly and turn over wind-resistant patterns.

Key Features

  • Short power taper: Transfers energy efficiently to larger, heavier flies.
  • Overweighted profile: Helps modern fast-action rods load with less line outside the tip.
  • Ultra-low-stretch core: Improves strike detection and hook-setting response.
  • Coldwater-supple coating: Reduces memory and supports smooth shooting from the reel.
  • Floating design: Suited to surface patterns and streamer applications requiring a floating line.

Specifications

  • Line size: WF8F
  • Profile: Weight-forward floating
  • Core: Ultra-low stretch
  • Designed for: Large streamers, bass bugs, and oversized terrestrials
